What to Expect
Your Nurse Injector will begin by assessing your skin and confirming a treatment plan tailored to your skin type, concerns, and desired outcome.
Before treatment, the skin is thoroughly triple cleansed and a topical numbing cream is applied for comfort. Microneedling is performed using a medical-grade device, DP4, with adjustable depths, allowing precise control based on the area being treated and your skin’s tolerance. Treatment typically takes 30-45 minutes, depending on the treatment area.
Following the treatment, the skin may appear pink or mildly inflamed, similar to a slight sunburn. This response is normal and typically resolves within 24-72 hours. Downtime is minimal, though some patients may experience dryness or mild flaking as the skin begins to regenerate. A post-treatment mask is applied immediately post-treatment to calm the inflammation.

Results & Longevity

Microneedling results develop gradually as collagen and elastin production increases. Many patients notice early improvements in skin texture and tone within 2-4 weeks, with continued improvement over the following months.
For optimal results, microneedling is often performed as a series of treatments, typically spaced 4-6 weeks apart. The number of sessions required varies depending on skin concerns such as acne scarring, texture, or overall rejuvenation.
Results and longevity depend on factors including skin condition, treatment depth, lifestyle habits, and consistency of treatments. Maintenance sessions may be recommended to support long-term skin quality and collagen production.
