Skin takes time to change. Most patients begin to notice visible improvement after four weeks of consistent use, as the skin cycle requires approximately 28 days to respond to topical products. 

Optimal results are typically seen after two to three months, particularly when products are used consistently and as directed. 

We offer complimentary skincare consultations to review your current routine, identify gaps, and recommend products that target existing concerns while helping prevent future damage. Thoughtful skincare supports injectable results and creates a strong foundation for long term skin health. 

Medical Grade Skincare FAQ

If you’re building a routine from the ground up, we recommend starting with three essentials: SPF, vitamin C, and a retinol or retinol alternative. 

In an ideal routine, this expands to a cleanser, toner, antioxidant (vitamin C), targeted corrective serums, retinol, eye cream, and a hydrator when needed- especially important in Calgary’s climate! From there, routines can be customized based on your skin goals and tolerance. 

Yes! All of our skincare lines are Health Canada approved and supported by clinical research. These products undergo extensive testing to demonstrate real, measurable results, not just marketing claims. 

That said, not every product is appropriate for every person. Certain ingredients may not be suitable for those who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or trying to conceive, or for younger skin. A consultation allows us to ensure recommendations are safe and appropriate for you.

Side effects are generally minimal. Because medical grade skincare contains higher concentrations of active ingredients, some patients may notice temporary dryness, redness, or mild irritation, particularly when starting new products. 

We offer complimentary consultations to review your routine, introduce products gradually, and create a useable timeline that minimizes reactions while maximizing results. 

Pricing varies based on formulation and active ingredients. Most products range from $35-$125, with some advanced formulas priced higher. 

We’re happy to build routines around your comfort level. Many patients start with one or two key products and expand their regiment over time. 

Most patients begin to see visible changes within a few weeks, with more significant results developing over 2-4 months of consistent use. 

Results vary depending on baseline skin health and factors such as hormones, stress, diet, hydration, medications, sun exposure, genetics, and other treatments. Skincare is cumulative. Consistency, quality, and starting early all contribute to long term skin health and how your skin ages over time. 

Skincare consultations are performed by trained members of our team, either one of our Nurse Injectors or our Patient Care Team. 

Consultations are complimentary and there is no obligation to purchase products afterward.

Absolutely! Many medical grade products can be safely combined with other brands.
