Treatment Areas
Radiesse can be used on its own or in combination with other dermal fillers, depending on the desired outcome and areas being treated.
Treatment areas and protocols are always individualized based on facial structure, skin quality, and goals. For optimal results, it is common to require a series of at least two treatments, allowing collagen stimulation to build progressively over time.
What to Expect
Your Nurse Injector will begin by reviewing a treatment plan tailored to your facial structure, skin quality, and desired outcome, ensuring recommendations support both immediate improvement and long term skin health.
Before treatment, the skin is thoroughly cleansed and injection points are carefully mapped. To support comfort, topical and or local numbing, ice, and a pulsing distraction device may be used. Treatment typically takes 20-45 minutes, depending on the number of areas addressed.
Swelling and bruising are common immediately following treatment and are considered part of the normal healing process. While downtime is minimal, mild swelling or bruising can persist for up to two weeks, particularly in more sensitive areas.
A follow up visit at approximately two weeks is recommended to assess how the product has settled, confirm balance once swelling has resolved, and determine whether a second treatment is appropriate.

Results & Longevity

Initial improvement is visible immediately, with continued enhancement as swelling subsides and the product integrates into the tissue. Collagen stimulation occurs gradually, with best results typically seen around four week post treatment and further improvement following a second session if recommended.
The goal of collagen stimulation is to improve skin support, firmness, and quality over time, creating a more plump, hydrated appearance without excess volume. Results vary between individuals, and treatment is focused on meaningful improvement rather than perfection.
Longevity and treatment response depend on factors such as product placement, amount used, metabolism, lifestyle habits, stress, genetics, and time between treatments. A series of treatments is often recommended to achieve and maintain optimal, long lasting results.
