Joanna is a Nurse Practitioner, Medical Director and Nurse Injector who values a subtle and natural aesthetic. Joanna has undergone extensive training with Dr. Dargie through the Botox and Filler courses and then completed a Fellowship in Aesthetic Medicine with Dr. Dargie in Kelowna. She is always looking for opportunities to learn and grow as an injector and is currently completing her Canadian Board of Aesthetic Medicine Certification.

Joanna sees aesthetic medicine as a natural extension of our health and wellbeing. She values ethical and safe treatments above all else, while truly enjoying the connection and collaboration that comes with building an aesthetic plan with her patients.

She was born in Calgary but grew up all over the world as her family moved from country to country. She returned to Calgary as a young adult to complete her Bachelor of Nursing in 2004 and graduated from the University of Calgary Masters of Nursing; Nurse Practitioner program in 2010.

For the bulk of her career, she has worked in the Intensive Care Unit; she loves the challenge of caring for the most complex patients and serves as first responder to in-hospital medical emergencies.
